Edition 2026: International Urban Vineyard Day
Every year, the city and the vine come together to celebrate International Urban Vineyard Day, a day dedicated to strengthening the bonds between our vineyards and the communities around them. This year, the celebration took place on April 26.
Under the theme “Taste the Neighborhood,” neighbors and friends gathered at our member vineyards around the world to celebrate the people, the shared stories, and the local projects that make each city unique, turning our vineyards into vibrant, open-air community hubs.
The celebration brought together our member vineyards in:
- Adelaide (Australia)
- Vienna (Austria)
- Brasilia (Brazil)
- Thessaloniki (Greece)
- Catania & Rome (Italy)
- London (United Kingdom)
Here’s how this year’s edition unfolded:
- Neighborhood Markets & Picnics: Guests met local cheese producers, artisanal chocolate makers, and organic growers, and shared a communal picnic right among the vines.
- Urban Collection Pop-Up: An immersive experience showcasing our shared heritage and our commitment to protecting green spaces from urban sprawl.
- Creative Workshops: Watercolor labs, pottery workshops, and book presentations invited connection and creative expression.
- Wellness & Learning: Community yoga, guided tastings, and talks on how our urban vineyard projects are building a greener future, together.
Once again, we celebrated the spirit of our neighborhoods and felt the city as a shared home. Thank you to everyone who was part of this special day.
See you at the next edition, in the vineyard!
