The Urban Vineyards Association (U.V.A.) is excited to welcome three new members, expanding the network to 11 countries across 3 continents. Among them, Gamboa Viñas & Bodega in Buenos Aires marks a milestone as our first member in Argentina, bringing South America into the association. Located just steps from Plaza de Mayo, Gamboa has transformed the heart of Buenos Aires into a space for wine, community, and experimentation.
They are joined by two unique Italian vineyards: Tenuta Villa Badia Piccola, an enclosed clos where historic Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines—some over 70 years old—continue to thrive, and Vigneto Italia at the Botanical Garden of Rome, a living collection of 170 grape varieties representing Italy’s extraordinary biodiversity.
Together, these vineyards show how wine can grow anywhere—from bustling capitals to ancient walls—connecting cities, culture, and people.
