Jacques Vervaet is a dual-qualified Civil and Mechanical Engineer and the founder of a company specializing in green rubber recycling technologies. His work is dedicated to advancing sustainable industrial solutions and promoting circular economy principles. As a member of the World Green Design Organisation (WGDO), he has been honored with the title of “World Green Design Engineer” in recognition of his commitment to responsible innovation and sustainable design.
In addition to his engineering career, Jacques is actively involved in viticulture and winemaking as President and Dean of the Ancient and Honorable Guild of the Winery at the Abbey of St. Pieters in Ghent, Belgium, contributing to the preservation of historic winemaking traditions and the development of contemporary vineyard culture.
