World Urban Vineyard Day 2025 arrives on October 19th, uniting vineyards around the globe for a month-long celebration where music meets the vineyard. Every note is paired with wine, culture, and nature, creating unforgettable experiences for all.
This year’s theme, “Music in the Vineyard,” highlights how sound and culture bring people together in urban viticulture spaces. Throughout October, member vineyards will open their doors to the public with concerts, workshops, tastings, and cultural activities that blend melody with terroir.
Here’s a glimpse of what you can experience this year:
🎹 Vienna, Austria – Eichhorn Winery
On October 4th, Eichhorn Winery hosted a concert featuring two musicians performing modern music with German lyrics. From 3 to 5 p.m. CET, the winery’s setting—surrounded by beautiful vineyards—became a stage for contemporary sounds and local culture.
🎵 Catania, Italy – Etna Urban Winery
On October 18th, enjoy a small, intimate concert and the soothing tones of healing music, connecting the senses of sound and taste in the vineyard.
🎶 Venice, Italy – Vigna di San Michele, Laguna nel bicchiere
Laguna nel bicchiere has invited musicians to perform in the San Michele vineyard on Sunday, October 19, 2025, starting at 11:00 a.m.
At the same time, a workshop will be set up to build simple and fun musical instruments, led by Omero Vanin and aimed at both children and adults, creating an engaging and creative experience among the vines.
🎻 Barcelona, Spain – Can Calopa & Can Ponsich Music School
On Saturday, October 18th at 11:00 a.m., young musicians from the Can Ponsich Music School will perform classical works by Haydn, Boismortier, and Leclair. This unique concert will guide the audience on a cultural journey through the 18th century and its wine landscapes, blending history, music, and viticulture.
🎸 Adelaide, Australia – Patritti Wines
On October 18th, Patritti Wines will open the doors of Cellar II for a festive evening where guests can taste the Urban Vineyards range for free at their pop-up bar. The celebration will feature live music from talented local artists and delicious offerings from food trucks, creating a vibrant atmosphere that perfectly blends the sounds and flavors of Adelaide’s urban wine scene.
🎷 Thessaloniki, Greece – Urban Vineyard of Thessaloniki
On October 19th, the Urban Vineyard of Thessaloniki will welcome visitors to experience a day filled with wine tastings and Mediterranean music. The event will open the city’s vineyard to the public, offering a warm and lively celebration that captures the essence of Greek hospitality and the rhythm of the Mediterranean among the vines.
🎺 Brasilia, Brazil – Vinhedo Lacustre
On October 19th, visitors can enjoy these harmonious sounds alongside the charm of urban vines. Music fills the air every weekend in Brasilia’s vineyards, with a flutist performing bossa nova and chorinho.
