The vineyards of Eichhorn Winery were planted between 1986 and 1992 and consist exclusively of white grape varieties grown as a “field blend.” This traditional viticulture method, common in Vienna for its practicality, allows us in our case to create a flavor portfolio directly in the vineyard. Passionate about crafting unique wines, we deliberately move away from single-varietal approaches, especially given their abundance on the market.
We purchased our first vineyard in 2020 and have expanded ever since. From the beginning, we have embraced a low-intervention philosophy, honoring the terroir and the time-honored winemaking process that has endured for thousands of years. As a result, we produce natural wines that are always evolving.
Eichhorn Winery is located in the northeastern part of Vienna, where the city meets the vineyard landscape.
