Luca Balbiano is a third-generation winemaker from Piedmont. With a degree in law, he leads the family winery in Andezeno, known for promoting Freisa di Chieri and native grape varieties from the Turin hills.
He served for many years as president of the Consortium for the Protection of the Freisa di Chieri and Collina Torinese DOC, playing a key role in revitalizing the denomination.
