Nicola is the Director and Co-founder of Etna Urban Winery, the first commercial-scale urban vineyard in Southern Italy. His journey into the world of wine began through a family endeavor to revive his ancestors’ historic winery, which had long been abandoned and now thrives on the outskirts of Catania, the largest metropolitan area in Sicily.
In addition to his role at Etna Urban Winery, Nicola also serves as Vice President of the Etna Wine Route and brings extensive experience as a management consultant—a profession he practiced full-time across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East before transitioning into winemaking.
